world vegan day – 1st November

Celebrating vegans around the world!

World Vegan Day was first celebrated in England in 1994 to commemorate the founding of The Vegan Society in 1944 – that means today is the 79th World Vegan Day! The vegan way of life is more popular than ever before, with a growing number of people adopting plant-based diets for various reasons. In the UK alone, there has been a 40% increase in the number of vegans over the past decade, with more than half a million people now following a vegan diet.

At devOATed, we are thrilled to be able to contribute to this growing movement and support vegans with our range of rich, creamy and delicious shakes.

We believe that dairy-alt and vegan food and drinks do not have to compromise on taste and quality. It was by no means easy, but after two years of research, ingredient searching, recipe tweaking and tasting, we finally found three recipes which create oatshakes that are just as delicious as any dairy milkshake on the market.

Furthermore, did you know that most oat milks sold in the UK are not made in the UK! From the very beginning we wanted to go one step further to also reduce food miles – we are the one and only flavoured oatshake in the UK that doesn’t use any imported cereals – just 100% British grown oats in every bottle.

Whether you choose veganism for environmental, health or animal welfare reasons – we salute you, and hope you enjoy our flavoursome drinks as part of your diet.
